Walmart Product Image In 2012 and 2013, tested 71 products from Walmart. These products include garden hoses, outdoor and exercise equipment, children's accessories, and holiday decorations. Approximately 10% (7 of 71) of the products tested contained bromine levels above 400 ppm, suggesting the use of brominated flame retardants. Moreover, we found high levels of lead in some of the Walmart products in our 2012 home and garden product study.
