Walgreens

Walgreens Product Image In 2013, HealthyStuff.org conducted testing on products purchased from Walgreens for 3 different studies; outdoor picnic supplies, fall product screening, and the End-of-the-Year 'Wrap Up'. Two of the six products tested from Walgreens contained bromine levels above 400 ppm, suggesting the use of brominated flame retardants.

Learn more about Walgreens' current policies regarding toxic chemicals in their product offerings and urge them to do more by visiting the Mind the Store website. Mind the Store is a national coalition calling on the top 10 retailers in the US to reduce the prevalence of toxic chemicals in consumer products.
