HealthyStuff.org is based on research conducted by environmental health organizations and other researchers around the country. The Ecology Center created HealthyStuff.org and leads its research and development. The Ecology Center is a Michigan-based nonprofit environmental organization that works at the local, state, and national levels for clean production, healthy communities, environmental justice, and a sustainable future.
Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families, a nationwide effort to pass smart federal policies that protect us from toxic chemicals.
HealthyStuff.org also works closely with state non-profit environmental organizations across the country. Click here to find a local organization in your state.
The Center for Environmental Health - California is our product testing partner organization and assists with conducting the product testing on HealthyStuff.org.
Special Thanks
HealthyStuff.org would not have been possible without the dedication
and contribution of many individuals and organizations. We would like
to specifically thank our product testing partner, Center
for Environmental Health (California).
We are grateful to Shayna Samuels and Glenn Turner at Ripple Strategies, Justin Laby and Alex Ade – web developers at Mouko LLC in Ann Arbor, everyone at Maggie's Organics, Margie Kelly and the whole team at Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families, Matt Grocoff at GreenovationTV, and Carrie Hensel and Alaine Karoleff at Inner Circle Media for all their design help. And, we really appreciate the kind donations of photography expertise provided by Myra Klarman, Marcy McCormick, and Decisive Moment Photojournalism.
The Ecology Center greatly appreciates the generous support of the following funders who make HealthyStuff.org possible: the Beldon Fund, The John Merck Fund, the Johnson Family Foundation, and The Kresge Foundation.
